Oxide & Nutrino - performing 12midday

We are delighted to welcome Oxide and Neutrino to Japfest Donington. When it comes to garage, Oxide and Neutrino are one of the true innovators starting out at the age of 16 on a pirate radio station called SUPREME FM. It was there they joined the hugely successful UK garage group So Solid Crew and in the 2000s went straight to number one as a duo releasing their first single Bound 4 Da Reload (Casualty) quickly followed by No Good 4 Me and Up Middle Finger! Bringing with them years of eclectic, undeniably addictive anthems, Oxide and Neutrino are sure to cause quite a stir when they take to stage and turn on the party.

New tyre alert: Toyo Proxes Sport

Just in time for the event, Toyo Tires has just launched its latest performance tyre. The Toyo T1 Sport has been one of its maker's most successful products; however, never one to rest on its collective laurels, Toyo has wasted no time in drawing up a replacement for the T1 Sport, the all-new Proxes Sport, a tyre that builds on Toyo's decades worth of experience to deliver superior wet and dry weather handling, stopping and comfort.

The new compound in question is the product of an exhaustive development process, and the result is a high silicone content with a special elastomer. This unique formulation imbues the Proxes Sport with excellent adhesion properties, in turn resulting in enhanced handling performance through vastly improved grip levels.
The upshot to such an exhaustive development process, one littered with unique design traits and significant developments, is a tyre with supreme wet and dry weather handling ability, along with class leading wet braking performance, the latter a full 6% better than the already impressive T1 Sport. Similarly, the Proxes Sport also boasts a 33% reduction in rolling resistance coefficient over its forbearer, and a 10% improvement in wet weather grip.

The stats don't lie, the Toyo Proxes Sport really is an astonishingly capable tyre, more than fit to follow on from the illustrious T1 Sport. Available in a wide variety of sizes and fitments, it will no doubt make a fine addition to the wheels of any performance car.

We’re looking forward to having Toyo Tires on board with us at Japfest Donington
